Our VacuPress range includes the FlipTop vacuum press with a flip frame, separate frames for expansion, vacuum pumps in compact, professional and industrial versions, and vacuum bags in vinyl and polyurethane in a wide range of sizes.
Vacuum pressing is the most effective method for veneer gluing. The pump removes the air from the bag so that atmospheric pressure presses the veneer against the substrate with high, even pressure across the entire surface. The result is a more even and stronger glue line than with clamps, and you can press curved and shaped workpieces that are otherwise hard to clamp.
About VacuPress
VacuPress systems are used by furniture makers, instrument builders and interior joiners for veneering cabinet doors, table tops, curved forms and marquetry. The reversible FlipTop frame lets you quickly load and unload workpieces and saves space in the workshop.
Choose pump size according to the press area: a compact pump is enough for smaller jobs, while a professional or industrial version is needed for large bags and multiple presses. Polyurethane bags withstand sharp edges and more wear than vinyl.
