Information about our terms for business customers
Prices stated are in Swedish kronor excluding statutory VAT, subject to price changes outside our control such as currency fluctuations and changed purchase prices.
Returns of delivered goods require ERNST P's approval. Non-stocked products as well as products that have been used or whose original packaging is missing or damaged cannot be accepted for return. Returns are credited at 80% of the invoiced value.
All sales are made on account unless otherwise agreed. No deduction for cash discounts is allowed. Late payments are charged interest at the prevailing reference rate +8%. For orders below 500:- net, an administration fee of 50:- is added. Minimum order value 150:-.
ERNST P. is in no event obliged to compensate the customer for personal injury or damage to property, for loss of profit or for any other indirect damage. Always follow the product's instructions and test first on an inconspicuous spot.
All deliveries are made ex our warehouse (Ex Works) and the customer is charged shipping in accordance with the applicable freight rate. Freight deductions are not accepted. Pallet costs are charged separately. Other packaging is included in the price. ERNST P. AB is connected to the REPA register and packaging fees are included in the price.
Costs for delivery obstacles, return freight, redirection or other extra services from the carrier that arise due to incorrect/incomplete delivery information, failure to receive or similar circumstances are charged to the customer in accordance with the freight rate.
Stock items are normally delivered within 1 week. Other products by agreement. For uncollected parcels we charge the customer the cost of return shipping and an administration fee of 200:- excluding VAT.
For selected Festool products an estimated dispatch date from Festool may be shown. This refers to the date Festool expects to deliver the item to us (Ernst P AB) — not necessarily the day the goods reach you; handling and shipping are added thereafter.
All transport is at the recipient's risk and the risk of the goods passes to the customer when handed over for transport. Complaints regarding damage shall therefore be made by the recipient in accordance with the rules prescribed by the carrier at the place of receipt.
The delivered goods remain the property of ERNST P. until full payment has been made. ERNST P. is entitled to cancel the purchase with immediate effect in the event of payment default.
The customer is guaranteed that the ordered goods are free from defects in design, material and manufacture. If a defect is found in the delivered goods that is not due to transport damage, it will be exchanged for a flawless item. The condition for the warranty's validity is that the complaint is made no later than 10 days after receipt of the goods.
Disputes arising from purchase shall be settled in Gothenburg. ERNST P. is however entitled, for the recovery of any overdue claim, to bring an action before the court at the customer's place of residence.
