Ernst P AB offers Gjöco professional wood adhesives manufactured in Perstorp, Sweden. Gjøco AS was founded in 1940 in Torvikbukt in Nordmøre on Norway's west coast and has grown into a group with a significant presence in the Scandinavian market for paint, adhesives and finishes. Through the acquisition of NiTe Kemi in Perstorp in 2004, Gjöco's wood adhesives are today manufactured in Sweden — an advantage in terms of delivery times, environmental profile and proximity to Swedish customers.
Our Gjöco range covers PVA-based wood adhesives in classes D2 (indoor use) and D3 (water-resistant for kitchens and windows), specially formulated winter adhesives for bonding at low temperatures, and professional packaging up to 100 litres for joinery factories and industry.
Gjöco's manufacturing in Perstorp is Miljøfyrtårn-certified — the Norwegian equivalent of Swedish environmental certification — and products are developed with a focus on lower VOC and safer working environments.
About Gjöco
Gjöco D3 adhesive meets the requirements of EN 204 and is approved for bonding window frames, doors, kitchen fronts and other components exposed to short-term moisture. The D3 joint is water-resistant but not fully waterproof like D4 — for permanent outdoor use or wet rooms, D4 adhesive or PU adhesive is recommended instead.
Gjöco's winter range is a Swedish speciality. Most PVA adhesives perform poorly below +10°C because the adhesive film cannot form correctly, but Gjöco's winter adhesive is formulated for bonding down to +5°C — ideal for unheated buildings, construction site work and workshops with low heating in winter.
